St John's Cubs

Me meet on a Monday at St John's and the cubs is open to boys and girls.

The cubs have a varied programme. This last year we have done map and compass work, hiking with the scouts, litter picking in Phoenix Park, aetting up a bug hotel and bulb planting with the beavers and scouts.

We also attended a bonfire party, had a sleepover for remembrance and joined in a party to celebrate the Queen becoming the longest reignining monarch.

Cub scouts are 100 years old this year and so there are many activites arranged to celebrate this milestone.

Parade services are held on the second Sunday of every month at 11am in the church and all of the children are encouraged to attend. These are family style services. Parents, friends and other family members are also welcome to come along.

We always welcome new children. If you or your child would like to know more then do get in touch. You can just turn up on the night but it is probably best to let us know you are coming. If you have any unanswered questions please contact us.

(All of our leaders are DBS approved and support the safeguarding policy of the church)
