St. John's Renewal Project

St. John's are in the process of renewing parts of the premises in order to continue to serve the local community and meet the needs of the present age. Work began in November 2020. Phases 1 and 2 have been completed and Phase 3 begins in July.

This 3 Phase project includes the following:

PHASE 1 - Extend and completely refurbish the current toilets along the main corridor. This to include the addition of a disabled access toilet and baby changing facilities.

PHASE 2 - Reburbish Rooms 1,2 and 3, and all along the main corridors, replacing all doors and frames, cupboards, replastering, boxing in pipework, replacing lighting, painting, and new floor coverings.

PHASE 3 - Remove and relocate the front toilet area to create an open atrium as a place of welcome and community activity. Click here to see a computer image of Phase 3.

The total cost of the 3 phases will be in the region of £225,000. Phases 1 and 2 have already been funded and are now complete. (see images).
