The Orpheus Male Voice Choir rehearses at St. John's each Wednesday evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm They welcome new members and have a busy schedule throughout the year.
The following is taken from their website...

The City of Wolverhampton Orpheus Male Voice Choir was founded in 1943, so in 2013 we celebrated our 70th anniversary at a number of events. We consider ourselves ‘ambassadors’ of Wolverhampton, wearing the City’s crest with pride.

At present, the choir has about 25 members divided in to 4 sections; 1st Tenors, 2nd Tenors, Baritones & Basses. (TTBB) We have a Musical Director/Conductor, a Deputy Conductor, an Accompanist and Associate Accompanists. The choir is managed by a committee made up from members and we also have strong support from our Ladies Supporters Club, who manage the fundraising.

The choir is a registered charity (no. 1069449) and every year we sing to raise money for many charitable causes. In 2012 & 2013, we had a 2 year ‘community compact’ fundraising partnership raising a grand total of £4,100 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
For 2014 & 2015 we partnered with The Royal British Legion raising £1,000.
